Meet the Vicar
The Rev. Elizabeth Miller
Elizabeth joined Trinity in August 2018 as its spiritual leader and deacon in charge. She attended Southwestern University and obtained a degree in International Studies, followed by a Masters in Education at the University of Houston . After teaching Spanish, French, History and serving as a school counselor, Elizabeth and her husband John settled in Beaumont for 23 years where they raised their children: Matthew, Merlyn and Ruthie. They now live in Houston where John works as a radiologist with Methodist Hospital. Elizabeth was called to ordained ministry later in life, and attended the Iona School for Ministry, a resource of the Episcopal Diocese of Texas. She was ordained priest in January 2019, and serves the people of Trinity Episcopal Church, Anahuac as Vicar with great joy and enthusiastically welcomes all.
