Welcome to the Trinity website...

We welcome you in the name of our Lord and Savior to our community on the World Wide Web. Trinity Episcopal Church in Anahuac is the Episcopal Church in Chambers County. We are a small, vibrant and welcoming community seeking and serving Christ in all persons. We are committed to sharing the Gospel of Christ with those we encounter, welcoming the stranger, and being a visible and vital sign in the Chambers County community of God's love.

We worship at 9 a.m. on Sundays in a warm, friendly and informal way and our table is the Lord's table. All are welcome!

Long-time members will recognize this as Trinity's original church building, which served the congregation well for several decades, until the current building was completed in the mid-1960's.

Trinity Supports Caring Center Food Pantry

Trinity continues its tradition of support for the Mid-County Christian Caring Center's food pantry with a donation of $1,200 to support the food pantry's outreach during the holiday season. In making the check presentation, Senior Warden Paul Rice noted that the holiday season is fast approaching and expressed his hope that other churches and area schools would start their food drives early this year. Because it buys in bulk, the food pantry is able to $4 to $5 worth of food at wholesale for what would cost $1 at retail.

Forward Day by Day

Perhaps you’ve seen a copy of Forward Day by Day, the daily devotional published by Forward Movement Publications. Forward Movement actually began as a project of the Episcopal Church, literally, to move the church forward.

Though it now operates independent of the church, it still feeds tens of thousands of Episcopalians with its daily meditations. If you haven’t seen it, don’t have a copy, or left yours at home, you can read each day’s meditation on-line at http://www.forwardmovement.org/

As part of Trinity's commitment to outreach and supporting the community, the Bishop's Committee voted recently to make contributions to all volunteer fire departments serving Anahuac and the surrounding area. Here, Senior Warden Paul Rice presents a check to members of the Smith Point Volunteer Fire Department to support that organization's life-saving mission.
